Paying extreme attention to the details of the in-game illustration, sculptor Masato Ohata took each facet of the badge, from the apparent wear and corrosion of time, down to the smallest scratch, and brought it into the third dimension. The details of the back, which are not in the original art, were well thought out to create an ultimately convincing form. The main body is made of silver 925. The piece uses a process of smoking and special paint to effectively reproduce the passage of time. The chord is made of genuine leather that becomes increasingly attractive the more it is worn. The ring that connects the pendant to the chord was created solely for this badge.
